Denia
Denia is a delightful, cosmopolitan town rich in history and culture which provides interest for all the family with its 20 km of gently sloping, sandy beaches, a picturesque harbour and marina which offers daily sea voyages to Ibiza and Mallorca and a 17th century Moorish castle which dominates the town and is a must see. There is diverse shopping available in the exquisite boutiques and gift shops along the smart Parisian-style tree lined streets where you can also sit and relax in its many cafes and bars
Moraira
Calpe has the highest rock in the Mediterranean, dominating the landscape and dividing its shoreline in two. This symbol of Calpe is a Natural Park and forms a first-rate geological feature which has preserved its unique ecological treasures. Despite its formidable appearance, a walk to the top takes about an hour and is fairly straightforward. A tunnel carved through the cliff face takes you to the gentler slopes on the other side, but you still need to scramble a bit in places - so be sure to wear sensible footwear. The huddled old town on the hill is surrounded by modern skyscraper buildings stretching down towards the sea where the busy town centre is full of shops, bars and restaurants. Most of the holiday apartments line the Arenal and Levante beaches, which spread out on either side of the Rock and the holiday villas tend to be on the hills or along the cliffs towards the edge of town. A lengthy traffic-free promenade links the town with its beaches and harbour with its state of the art fish market and sparkling marina and yacht club and takes around an hour to walk it at strolling pace.
Moraira is a small yet charming and picturesque town with its own popular wide, gently-shelving sandy beach with shallow waters. The main hub of life is beside the pretty yacht marina offering a good selection of restaurants and bars where you can sit outside and watch the world go by. A charming square still retains much of the original character and atmosphere. The fishermen still go to sea in the early hours of the morning to catch their produce which is sold later that day by auction at the traditional fish market.

Altea
Altea is a haven for the more discerning who will be enthralled by its medieval cobbled streets, its picture book old quarter and the delightful palm-fringed seafront esplanade. Altea is siituated at the top of a hill so climb your way up through the narrow streets of the old quarter until you come to the plaza where you'll be rewarded with a magnificent panoramic view over Altea bay with the Sierra Bernia mountain range providing an impressive backdrop. The magnificently jumbled and cluttered centre of the old town provides Altea with a special charm and here you will find the parish church (Our Lady of Solace) which is as elaborate inside as out with its slender bell tower and huge blue dome beautifully decorated with its glazed ceramic tiles. Altea is a paradise for artists and craftsmen and it still retains its Bohemian air with a plethora of shops and stalls offering wonderful local crafts, paintings and gifts. At the foot of the old town you'll find the main shopping street selling some excellent clothes, shoes, furniture and leather goods. This runs parallel to the attractive palm fringed seafront esplanade with its sand and pebble beaches and impressive harbour.
Benidorm with its skycraper skyline is the largest resort on the Costa Blanca with some 4 million visitors each year. It has acquired a reputation as one of the Mediterranean's top nightspots with a variety of leisure amenities and a wide range of activities for children, teenagers and pensioners. From the moment the sun goes down there's non-stop entertainment in every conceivable form and it keeps going till sun up. There are more discos, cabarets, clubs and pubs packed into one area here than in any other resort in Spain. One of the biggest and brashest shows is at the Benidorm Palace where you can enjoy glittering 3 hour Las Vegas-style entertainment accompanied by a very decent dinner. The first class cabaret show has tasteful topless Spanish dancers and flamenco, jugglers and magicians along with a live dance band to fill in the gaps between acts. Of course, this thriving resort would never have developed the way it did if it weren’t for its beautiful setting with two wonderful sandy bays over 5km long separated by a rocky promontory that offers great views in each direction to Poniente (sunset) and Levante (sunrise) beaches. The beaches are sandy and slope gently into the water providing endless hours of fun in the shallows for small children. Further out to sea are the adventure rafts with slides, swinging bridges and diving boards
